Cherry Blossoms in Seoul
Where the trees open, and when to go
Seoul's cherry trees usually flower in early April. The Korea Meteorological Administration's normal for the city is first flowering on 8 April and full bloom on 10 April, though the trees follow the weather, so check the forecast before you fix a date. Yeouido is the centre of the season. Yeouido Yunjung-ro Cherry Blossom Road, Yeouido Park and Yeouido Hangang Park are all on the same island, and Namsan Park is tagged for blossom too. The Yeouido and Seokchon Lake festivals are on the events calendar with typical dates, and neither has announced its 2027 dates yet.
