Questions

Where can I see live music in Seoul tonight?

The list at the top of this page opens on tonight's gigs, taken from the venues' own schedules. The small clubs are around Hongdae and Sangsu, and the big halls are in Seocho, Jamsil and Jongno. Filter by genre or area, then check the venue listing for tickets.

Where can I hear jazz in Seoul?

Club Evans in Sangsu posts a calendar with one act a night. All That Jazz in Itaewon is listed here, but its own site shows no readable schedule.

Where can I hear traditional Korean music?

The National Gugak Center publishes its concert calendar month by month, and the Sejong Center lists gugak alongside classical and popular programmes.

Do I buy tickets from the venue?

Each listing links to the venue's own page, which says where its tickets are sold. Halls generally sell through their own box office or a named ticket seller, and small clubs often sell at the door.

Are the listings in Korean or English?

Mostly Korean. Titles and acts appear here as each venue prints them, and prices are in Korean won.

Listings are facts from each venue's own schedule: date, times, the acts as billed, the price as printed and the links. Shows change, so check the venue listing before you go. Venues and artists: to correct or remove a listing, email [email protected].
